V75 is a Swedish trotting race with strong betting traditions. Every Saturday half a million Swedes gather in front of the TV to follow the races. In December 2017, ATG decided to arrange "Winter Burst” - nine V75 races in one week with a multiplayer pot as the Grand Final. Their biggest challenges were the general stress connected to Christmas celebrations and the fact that most races ran on weekdays. Kickers objective was to put together an attractive package that would create interest and stimulate gaming lust during this period.
The "Winter Burst” theme was visually supported by horses speeding through the winter snow. The concept made the races feel energizing and interesting. An absolutely necessetity in order to break through to the market during the Christmas buzz.
With bold images, comprehensive window display and real snow, Kicker created retail store take overs with great visual impact.
The retail take overs acheived much appreciation and likability among both consumers and ATG-retailers. The campaign also covered television, social media, radio and print. The concept strengthened ATG's relationship with their agents and sales increased by 20 million SEK.
